METICULOUS SOURCING FROM LOCAL PROVIDERS

At Carré Suisse, we believe that every one of our chocolate products must be expertly crafted from the world’s finest cacao beans in compliance with traditional harvesting, fermentation and drying methods. Our bean experts travel the world to meet with cacao-producing cooperatives who plant the actual trees, harvest the pods, process the beans through time-honored practices in order to ensure flavorful and exceptional-quality chocolate.

BEST QUALITY CACAO: DIVERSITY AND RICHNESS

Quality and flavor are crucial at Carré Suisse. We strive to bring out in our chocolate the individual flavors and nuances from each cacao bean. Our beans are grown in geographically diverse countries such as Madagascar, Colombia, Peru and Costa Rica. Each cacao reveals specific aromas: two varieties of beans that are grown in different terroirs will produce subtly distinct flavors.

FAIR TRADE CERTIFIED

We use sustainable and responsible production methods. How? We actively support our production partners and offer comprehensive fair trading terms. Our goal is to forge long-lasting, trusting relationships with our partners, to operate as equals and create a win-win situation for everyone involved. As a result of our approach, we have obtained a “fair trade chocolate” certification by the FLO organization.
